1. What Data We Collect

When you use Brian Kight's Coaching Tool, we collect the following information:

• Account information: Name, email address, school, sport, and coaching philosophy.
• Content you create: Chat conversations, generated documents, and workspace edits.
• Usage analytics: Anonymous usage data such as pages visited, features used, and session duration.
• Payment information: Processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Provide the Service: Your profile information personalizes your coaching experience. Your conversations and documents are stored so you can access them.
• Improve the product: Anonymous usage analytics help us understand which features are most valuable and where to improve. Anonymized conversation data may be used to improve response quality. You can opt out anytime in Settings.
• Send transactional emails: Account confirmations, password resets, subscription receipts, and important service updates.

3. AI Data Handling

Your conversations and documents are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic does not use API data for model training. Your content is not shared with other users. Each conversation is processed independently and is only accessible to your account.

4. Data Storage

All data is stored on US-based infrastructure:

• Supabase (US-based) — Database and authentication
• Cloudflare R2 — File storage for uploaded documents and generated exports
• Railway (US-based) — Application hosting

• Active accounts: Your data is retained for as long as your account is active.
• Deleted accounts: When you delete your account, all associated data is removed within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data: Use the data export feature in your Settings page to download your data.
• Delete your account: You can delete your account from your Settings page at any time.
• Request data deletion: Email us at support@tbriankight.com to request deletion of specific data.

8. FERPA Position

Brian Kight's Coaching Tool is designed for coaching staff. We do not knowingly collect or store education records as defined by FERPA. Our platform serves coaches, not students. Coaches should not upload student education records to the platform.

9. Children's Privacy

Brian Kight's Coaching Tool is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

10. Cookies

We use Google Analytics cookies for anonymous usage tracking. These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Service. We also use essential cookies for authentication and session management, which are required for the Service to function.

11. Security

We take the security of your data seriously and implement the following measures:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Row-level security (RLS) on all database tables
• bcrypt password hashing
• Regular security audits and monitoring

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email at the address associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
